“What if we saw souls instead of bodies?” This was a concept touched on in Brianna Wiest’s book 101 Essays to Change the Way You Think. Ever since reading that and being spiritually moved at a summer conference, I’ve been ruminating on its’ implications.

What would your soul look like? Would my soul look better than my outward appearance or would I be ashamed of my soul? I decided I wanted to truly work on myself & my soul- the encapsulation of my being and its choices.

So what if we saw souls instead of bodies? What if we saw the radiant joy behind a smile or the pulsing connectedness of an embrace? How would that change our idea of “beauty”?
